Vintage 1977 English Brass Rubbing Daughters Sir Robert & Dame Jemima Wilson For Sale

This is a beautifully framed vintage brass rubbing reproduction depicting the six daughters of Sir Robert Thomas Wilson and Dame Jemima Wilson. The original monumental brass monument dates back to 1849 and is located in the North Aisle of Westminster Abbey, London, England. This piece beautifully captures the six daughters in a devotional pose, rendered in a romanticized 19th-century Victorian interpretation of medieval fashion. The back of the piece features its original informational text panel copyrighted by Clark Paterson of High Wycombe, Bucks, England, in 1977. Professionally matted and housed in a classic silver-toned frame with a sturdy hanging wire, the backing also retains a charming vintage gallery label from \"Sam\'s Place\" on Main Street in Saco, Maine. The artwork itself is in good vintage condition under the glass, while the frame displays some minor nicks and authentic wear that adds to its vintage character. Please review all photos carefully to evaluate the exact condition and cosmetic details before purchasing. The frame shows wear but I did not want to remove the print as to avoid damage.
