Vintage 1970s Japanese Sake Set Lava Glaze Decanter & Cups MCM Brutalist Japandi For Sale

This set has a fantastic late 1960s / 1970s organic modern aesthetic with strong Mid Century Modern, Brutalist, and Japandi appeal. The heavily textured glaze transitions from warm caramel and cocoa tones into smoky gray-blue accents around the shoulders and rims, giving the set a distinctly studio pottery appearance.

The bottle’s architectural square form makes it especially displayable and decorative — equally attractive as barware, shelf décor, or part of a curated MCM pottery collection.

The underside retains its original “Made in Japan” label.
