About the ad

This vintage 1960s Schlitz beer magazine advertisement captures the exuberant social energy of mid-century American nightlife, featuring a glamorous woman and companions raising Schlitz bottles in a jubilant toast. \'When you\'re out of Schlitz, you\'re out of beer\' became one of the most memorable taglines in brewing history, cementing Schlitz — \'The Beer that made Milwaukee Famous\' — as a cultural touchstone of the era. This original print ad showcases the bold color photography and confident copywriting that defined 1960s consumer advertising, making it a compelling collectible ad for breweriana enthusiasts and mid-century design collectors alike.
