Vintage 1960s Mid Century Tapestry Walnut Jewelry Box For Sale

Vintage Mid-Century Modern jewelry box featuring a fabulous brown, cream and tan geometric woven fabric set into a warm walnut-toned wood frame. The box stands on four ornate antiqued brass-tone feet and opens to a rich mustard-gold velvet/velour-lined interior.

The interior includes a large open storage area, a smaller divided compartment, and two padded ring rolls. The combination of the graphic woven textile, warm wood tones and golden interior gives this piece a wonderfully distinctive 1960s look.

A beautiful functional piece of vintage storage for jewelry, watches, keepsakes or other small treasures—and just as appealing displayed on a dresser or vanity.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The wood finish has scattered scratches, small nicks, edge wear and areas of finish loss, including a more noticeable worn area along the lid edge. The interior lining shows some light discoloration/spots from previous use. The metal feet show age and patina. The woven exterior fabric remains attractive and displays very well.
