Vintage mid-century Santa Claus Christmas tree ornament, believed to date from approximately the 1950s–1960s.Wonderful blow mold style Santa design with hand-painted face, bright blue eyes, red felt suit and hat, white fuzzy trim and full white beard, black belt with gold-tone buckle and tiny black boots.Santa is posed with one arm raised and one leg kicked up, giving him a great whimsical mid-century Christmas look.Measures approximately 4” tall, not including the hanging wire/string.Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear, discoloration, spotting and surface wear to the felt and trim. There is visible wear to the hat and other areas consistent with age. Hanging wire/string is present. No maker or country-of-origin label was found.
