A fun trio of mid-century ephemera, perfect for collectors of home front, advice, and domestic history.
• Canning 1943 by Hulda Schuele, The Cleveland Press. A WWII-era Victory Garden canning guide with period illustrations and wartime tips on pressure cookers, jars, and lids. Cover shows wear, creasing, and staining.
• Father and Son: The Manual of Hygiene, ed. M. A. Horn, Hygienic Productions, 1948 (38th printing). A classic mid-century sex-education and health pamphlet for parents. Water staining on some pages.
• Your Manners and Mine ("The Way You Do It"), Briggs Publishing Co., 1942. A teen etiquette and grooming booklet with silhouette cover art. Some spotting on the cover.
All three are in good, used vintage condition with age toning, wear, and the stains noted above. Staples intact, pages complete as far as I can see (please verify before listing).
Great for ephemera collectors, altered art, scrapbooking, retro displays, or WWII home front research.
