Tucked inside is a matching 1948 weekly withholding tax pamphlet from the Sinclair Publishing Co.This item was acquired directly from the daughter of the original owners, George and Erna Tennant. They lived at 130 Bolen Ave, Wolf Lake, Muskegon, Michigan.A unique local detail: The title page features a handwritten note by George noting he "Work at Sea & Lo Power"—a historical reference to the famous Sealed Power Corporation, a massive automotive employer in Muskegon during the mid-20th century.The diary is completely filled out with daily handwritten entries tracking personal thoughts and daily routines of the era.
