[DIMENSIONS]: 12\"x9\" when folded closed
Offered for sale is an exceptionally rare, authentic 1939 \"Kay\'s 24th Anniversary Sale\" large-format newsprint mailer catalog lot from the Kay Jewelry Company branch at 653 Main Street, Worcester, Mass. This complete publication is themed around the historic 1939 New York World\'s Fair, titled \"Now at Kays: A World\'s Fair of Values.\"
The oversized catalog features a striking art deco cover design with pink accents depicting an exposition pavilion. The interior opens to multi-page spreads highlighting various luxury items, fine jewelry, and home goods from the pre-WWII era. Highlights include full pages of vintage mechanical watches from Elgin, Hamilton, Bulova, and Benrus; an assortment of solid gold rings and birthstones; Wm. Rogers Silverplate flatware; a \"Candid-Type\" vintage camera; and various electric home appliances like waffle irons and mixers. The lot includes the original large post-paid mailing envelope showing the matching 653 Main St. return address text.
Note on Condition: Because this item is printed on thin newsprint, it shows typical fragile handling creases along the factory folds, light edge browning, and minor margin splits consistent with its age. The outer envelope shows heavier edge tears and flap wear from opening. Please review the high-resolution photographs to independently verify the paper conditions and text legibility.
