This is an authentic vintage lace textile featuring a Paris cityscape with the Eiffel Tower and the year “1937” incorporated into the design.The lace was personally salvaged by the seller in the early 1990s while working on a large studio lot costume and fabric clean-out project. At the time, extensive quantities of vintage trims, textiles, and fabric remnants were being discarded. A small number of pieces were preserved, including this lace fragment. The lace itself appears to be an early 20th-century French souvenir or decorative textile, with imagery commonly produced during the interwar period. The year “1937” is visible as part of the lace pattern there are buildings with a tower , hedges and overhead there are several airplanes indicating the possibility of WAR ! This exquisite piece of lace tells a short story !
The frame is a light vintage patina green with a hint of a white chalk streak made of wood with a glass plate cover. The lace is light tacked onto black paper and can be removed with care.The piece has been framed by the seller and kept in storage for many years. Frame is later and included as display only; value is in the lace textile.

(Paris / Eiffel Tower imagery was very popular in the condition consistent with age estimated age unknown ! 📌Lace shows natural wear, light discoloration, and fragile edges typical of early lace textiles. 📌No major tears noted. The lace is held in place with a very small piece of glue dots & can be removed.Notes :
