Vintage 1930s Peerless Handcuffs Springfield MA W/2 Keys & Case Working For Sale

Vintage Peerless handcuffs manufactured in Springfield, Massachusetts, dating to approximately 1932–1934 based on the patent markings and serial number.

The cuffs are marked:

THE PEERLESS HANDCUFF CO.

SPRINGFIELD, MA.

PATENT 1531451 – 1872857

MADE IN U.S.A.

Serial number: 93548

The handcuffs function properly and both included keys operate them as intended.

Included is a black Safariland handcuff case and two keys. The case is not original to the handcuffs, and one of the keys is also a later replacement. The second key is unmarked and may be period/original, but I cannot verify that with certainty.

The cuffs show age-appropriate wear throughout, including scratches, oxidation, discoloration, and surface marks consistent with decades of use and storage. They have not been polished or restored. Please review all photographs closely for condition and detail.

A very interesting surviving piece of early-1930s American law-enforcement equipment from the Depression-era period.
