VTG Pre-WWII Stanley No. 36 Boxwood & Brass Caliper Rule – 6\" (1/16ths):
$49.00

Key Features & Historical Details:

Pre-1941 Craftsmanship: This rule features traditional boxwood construction with solid brass bindings and hinges. Because manufacturing shifted away from solid brass during World War II due to material shortages, this pre-war model represents an era of uncompromising tool quality.
Integrated Caliper: Features a beautifully machined solid brass slide-out caliper that extends a full 2 inches. Perfect for taking exact inside or outside measurements.
Dimensions & Graduations: This is a two-fold pocket rule that measures exactly 6 inches when fully opened and locked straight. The markings are precisely graduated in 1/16ths of an inch.

Condition Notes:

(Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.)

The boxwood displays a warm, authentic patina. The brass joints and sliding caliper operate smoothly without binding, and the stamped numbering remains legible.
