VTG First National Bank of Boston Canvas Deposit Bag K-150 Mid-Century Americana For Sale

American banking history: a vintage, heavy-duty cotton canvas deposit bag from The First National Bank of Boston.

This bag dates specifically to the post-WWII era (circa late 1940s to 1950s). The absence of a ZIP code or a two-letter state abbreviation on the "Boston, Mass." address firmly dates its manufacture to prior to the 1963 postal changes.

Key Features:

• Bold, crisp black block typography reading: "PLEASE DO NOT CUT BAG WHEN OPENING - RETURN PROMPTLY TO THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF BOSTON, BOSTON, MASS."

• Stamped with the unique regional branch ledger tracking code K-150 at the bottom.

• Features a fantastic, genuine aged patina with minor staining and a distinct blue ink smudge on the upper left margin, giving it true historical character.

• Double-stitched perimeter built to withstand heavy coin and paper currency transport through night vaults.

Perfect for historical collectors, financial memorabilia enthusiasts, or as a unique rustic decor piece for a home or office.
