Pattern / Technique: Hand-blown clear glass with infused white
Latticino ribbon accents and an applied ruby red glass rim.
Theme: Christmas Holly & Berries Style Holiday Decor.

In Czech glassmaking, this feature is known as a pincer-molded or twisted stem handle. The glassblower creates it by heating a solid gather of clear glass, pulling it, and twisting it by hand while molten to create a ribbed texture before fusing it to the top of the bell. This adds a beautiful, light-catching shimmer that perfectly balances the white-infused body and bold red trim. While the Countess brand mass-produced millions of the cobalt blue, cranberry, and green bells heavily covered in 24K gold gilding, they made far fewer of these clean, artisan-style Latticino pieces
