Wonderful pair of vintage Ole Barrel Brand syrup advertising tins from Lancaster Wholesale Grocery Co., Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Includes two coordinating sizes:

• 10 lb Ole Barrel Syrup tin

• 5 lb Ole Barrel Syrup tin

Great old yellow faux wood-grain advertising labels feature a nostalgic general store scene with a shopkeeper and young boy. The smaller tin retains its wire bail handle; the larger tin is missing its original handle.

Both show plenty of authentic vintage character including label wear, staining, oxidation, scratches and general surface wear from age and use. No lids included. Please see all photos closely for condition.

Fantastic primitive country store, Pennsylvania Dutch, farmhouse kitchen or vintage advertising display pieces. Especially fun displayed together as a graduated pair. Did they even have a slight syrup smell!
