This is a very cool crinoid fossil. It is a very nice plate of Glyptocrinus decadactilus crinoids from the Ordovician of Kentucky. The extinct sea lilies are very detailed - the distinct arms and ornate calices are very easily seen. Both crinoids still have their LONG stemsbeautifully displayed andtightly attached to the crowns. The striking crinoids are well showcased on the natural block of shale. This is a very displayable double example of these classic Ordovician crinoids from the Bluegrass State.
