Three Piece Hand Painted Artisanal Ceramic Portuguese Fountain W Lid & Spigot For Sale

If your looking to add a touch of romance or Euro-whimsical to your home, this “old country” water fountain, would be a great piece, for that. Suited for indoor or outdoor use, this lovely, little, vintage relic, could be the focal point, to which you base the rest of your decor off of. If you’ve got a taste for the eclectic, it’s a great, as well. You can’t go wrong, either way.

There are three pieces. The mid-section or body, is meant to hold water. It’s where the spigot is attached. A lid, meant to keep the water from evaporating. Lastly, it has a base, where any excess water would spill into. Four strategically placed holes were included in its design-to make wall placement easier. It truly is, a beautiful piece of functioning art, from Portugal. Marked. See pics for measurements.

***Aesthetically, it’s in great condition, for its age, BUT there is a hairline crack, right next to the spigot-meaning, it leaks. Can it be sealed? Probably, but I’ll leave that, to whomever purchase it. I never used it, as a source for holding water. It was always used, as a source of beauty..which it absolutely iwas/is. There is some crazing on/inside the basin- along with some discoloration, inside and around the edges**
