As fresh as when it first appeared in the last 1970s, the eye-catching shopping bag from the Metropolitan Museum of Art has become an American icon. Over 1,000,000 bags are printed every eyar, making it one of the most visible symbols of the larges repository of art in the Western emisphere. Rudy De Harak\'s aware winning design for the bag was introduced to coincide with the opening of the New Art Publication Center, now referred to simpoy as \"the Bookshop\", off the Museum\'s Great Hall. Its three bold colors--blue, yellow, and red---represent the lemental pigments for color printing: cyan, yellow and magenta.

The Museum\'s Met Shopping bag minitaure is hand painted, and can be used as a pencil holder, a gift sack, or a party gavor holder. To Clean, wipe with a dry cloth.
