I’m a little spoiled after inspecting all these Dept 56 pieces. The workmanship of this Texaco collectible is not nearly as good but it’s still a cool little building. I opened it and couldn’t understand why I saw glue in a couple spots. Then I looked at the others listed on here and they were the same or worse. You can see in the pictures it’s not bad.Department 56 Collection
We are liquidating Mom’s extensive collection. These were stored in plastic tubs in a barn in Kentucky. Many items were never displayed but we will be opening every boxed item just to inspect. Of the 50 large storage totes these were in 5 were broken from age and weight and allowed damage to occur. We will be documenting the condition of each item to the best of our ability. I have been on since 2003 and have no intention of lowering my 100% positive rating. We live very rural ourselves and will ship asap generally within 48hrs unless otherwise agreed upon. I have switched to USPS to make shipping more affordable. Look at the pictures, ask questions if you have them and happy shopping.
