TED LEWIS was born June 6, 1890 in Ohio and

Died August 25, 1971 at age 81 in NYC.

THEODORE LEOPOLD FRIEDMAN, Known publicly as TED LEWIS was a popular entertainer, bandleader, singer and musician. He fronted a band and a touring stage show featuring jazz, comedy and nostalgia which was a hit with the public before and after World War II. Known as MR. ENTERTAINMENT, Lewis was frequently quoted as saying 'Is Everybody Happy?'. Originally from Circleville Ohio, the town now features a museum honoring him and his long career. Ted Lewis died of lung failure in August 1971.

This signed item is unique. It was signed in person in blue fountain pen ink and has been in a private collection for the past 30+ years.

Both sides of the 8" x 10" inch photo are pictured. The front side is autographed and the reverse is blank but the paper is toned so the coloring is tan. It will be shipped carefully packaged and flat via First Class Mail.
