Signed Vintage Japanese Sosaku Kokeshi Doll Takeda Daisuke Carved Wood 7.5" For Sale

This beautiful vintage Japanese Sosaku (Creative) Kokeshi doll is a remarkable mid-century piece handcrafted by the celebrated artisan Takeda Daisuke. Standing at approximately 7.5 inches tall, the doll is meticulously turned and carved from solid wood, highlighting a wonderful contrast between the rich, dark grain of the architectural bob hairstyle and the lighter, warm tones of the body. The lower section features delicately incised and hand-painted plum blossom floral motifs in subtle white and pink tones. The base retains its clear, authentic handwritten artist signature along with the traditional red hanko seal stamp, verifying its provenance. A peaceful, minimalist facial expression completes this collectible work of Japanese folk art, perfect for any display.ITEM SPECIFICS
