Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls 10 Piece Hand Painted Sergiyev Posad Signed 10cm

Beautiful vintage Russian nesting doll set featuring 10 hand painted wooden dolls, decorated in traditional folk art style with rich orange, white, and metallic gold accents.

The base of the largest doll is handwritten in Russian, indicating a 10 piece set made in Sergio Posad, Russia, one of the countries premier centers for traditional doll production. The largest doll is marked 10 cm, corresponding to approximate height. These markings add authenticity and collectible appeal.

This complete set nests perfectly from the largest doll down to the tiniest miniature and displays wonderfully. The expressive hand painted faces and intricate detailing make this an excellent collectible as well as an attractive decorated piece.
