Up for sale is an incredibly scarce piece of defunct 1980s amusement history: an original 1984 Magic Pizza Family Entertainment Centers promotional pinback button.

Magic Pizza was a short-lived, highly ambitious "pizza time theatre" concept that opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, California, on January 29, 1984. Built to go head-to-head with Chuck E. Cheese and ShowBiz Pizza, the facility featured an incredible indoor video game arcade called the "Wizard’s Forest," live magic shows, and advanced animatronic special effects.

Because the franchise closed quickly and operated on a highly localized scale, surviving memorabilia from this venue is exceptionally difficult to find. While vintage brass game tokens from the restaurant occasionally surface, this official wearable promotional pin is an absolute holy grail item for serious collectors of 1980s arcade, animatronic, and roadside Americana history.

The pin features a beautiful, shimmering gold-foil background depicting a wizard casting a spell with the classic stylized "Magic Pizza Family Entertainment Centers" branding wrapping around the edge. Don't miss the chance to add this rare piece of California pop-culture history to your collection!
