Rare Hand Engraved Persian Brass Qalamzani Persepolis Wall Art Charger 12.5”

Persian brass wall charger featuring a ceremonial scene inspired by ancient Persepolis, with two nobles flanking a winged guardian beneath a Faravahar motif, all set against a contrasting silver-tone background. An ornate floral border, scalloped rim, and warm aged brass finish highlight the exceptional craftsmanship of traditional Persian qalamzani metalwork. An engraved inscription within the central cartouche adds to its visual appeal and artisanal character. Ideal for wall display, this distinctive charger is a striking addition to collections of Persian decorative arts, Middle Eastern metalwork, and globally inspired interiors.

12.5” Diameter; 1 lb 11oz

Very good vintage condition with light age-related wear. Crisp hand engraving with an attractive aged patina. Minor finish loss to one figure’s headdress and expected wear to the reverse. Original wall hanger intact. Reference photos.
