An extraordinary find in antique American interiors fabric.
A hunt themed deer/stag design by the renowned Witcombe McGeatchin Co.
In the 1920’s range.
Witcombe McGeachin was a prestigious importer of high end textiles & operated from the early 1900’s until the 30’s. They are documented textiles in the Smithsonian, V&A Museum & Chicago Institute of Art.
Well known for a commemorative design of Charles Lingbergh’s first Trans Atlantic flight in the 20’s.
This is a phenomenal design on mid density good quality interiors cotton in rich stately moodier tones from this time period.
Ochre mustard yellow, brown & black on a tone close to a taupey tan beige.
Unused & pretty remarkable condition for its age. A hint of soft tanning on the outer edges from years of storage but quite well maintained.
Wonderful in any interiors project, upholstery as well as bag making, unique clothing etc & certainly a fine collectors or archive textile.
***Measures~ 46” wide
& sold by the yard (36” long)
I’ll keep quantity over 1 uncut/continuous up to 10 yards selected (at the time of this listing).
Many thanks!

I sell antique and vintage fabric. Each textile is different; some possibly used, some unused. I will give you my best assessment. I do not always launder them nor do I know all their history, how they have been stored over time etc.. I have a 30+ year long & extensive knowledge of textiles and gauge age ranges; fiber content etc.. to the best of my ability. As always please view all photos, dimensions etc.. as they are part of the description. Please keep in mind that I provide the best photos possible but monitors do vary. If my eyes should miss a small flaw, please know it is not intentional. I am always available and happy to answer any inquiries so always please ask if I have not addressed something that may be important to you.I
do combine shipping whenever possible. If you are an international
buyer or purchasing multiple pieces, please wait for my personal invoice
as 's auto. combined invoices are rarely accurate. You can do this
by either messaging me or using the drop down button that says "request
total from seller" after your purchase but prior to paypal checkout.
Again, if you have any questions, please message me.
