RARE VINTAGE BLUE MOON & STAR PRESSED GLASS KEROSENE STAND LAMP

An extraordinary and seldom-seen variation of the beloved Moon & Star pattern.

This striking 12-inch vintage kerosene stand lamp features brilliant jewel-blue pressed glass, an unusually elaborate two-piece pedestal construction, and a beautifully detailed antique-style metal burner assembly.

Unlike the more familiar American Moon & Star oil lamps, this example bears a molded MADE IN HONG KONG marking. Its distinctive construction and matching patterned components make it an especially intriguing piece for collectors of vintage pressed glass and decorative lighting.

Despite extensive searching, we have been unable to locate another identical example of this particular lamp configuration.

Design & Details

The generously proportioned upper reservoir features raised starburst medallions, graceful teardrop motifs, and intricate beaded detailing. The matching pedestal repeats these decorative elements, creating a cohesive and exceptionally ornate presentation.

The dark metal burner assembly features a pierced gallery and decorative wick-adjustment mechanism, providing a beautiful contrast to the luminous blue Moon & Star

The glass is in exceptional condition, with both the reservoir and pedestal beautifully preserved.
