VINTAGE RARE AUTHENTIC INUIT ESKIMO PACKING DOLL FROM SPENCE BAY

The original tag is a bit worn and a little hard to read. The artist is a member of the famed Uttaq family who created beautiful artwork out of stone and other natural materials while living in Talyoak.

This is Kalluk or \"THUNDER WOMAN\" -- a goddess. This is a amazing quality thick heavy duffle wool handmade with original cloth tag hand stitched signed in inuit on its amauti (parka) . Comes complete with it\'s baby on the back.

This doll measures approximately 16\" tall from kneeling to top of parka, 10\" deep from hands to feet, and about 8\" wide from edge of hand to edge of hand.

Includes a large necklace made of small shells (as shown). I\'m not sure if they were originally with the doll, but they are included.

The condition is excellent, very clean with no damage. Kept in a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
