Quilt Exceptional Rare Double Irish Chain Pattern 8 Stitches/Inch Muslin Cotton For Sale

A very beautiful and hard to find handmade Muslin Cotton Quilt showcasing the Double Irish Chain pattern. This is an exceptional handmade quilt with the vintage Blue fabric still retaining its bold and rich colors and extremely detailed hand quilting. This quilt has been registered with the “Colorado Quilting Council Historical Documentation Registry Number G-8932 Date 5-31-2003”. Excellent quality showing the makers extreme patience and quilting craftsmanship skills having about 8 stitches an inch in most areas and 1 finger width hand quilting intricate design features. It does show typical border fraying for its age and use on 3 sides, other than that no damage whatsoever. I hand washed it with Quilt Soap and dried it on a sheet pattern side down in the Arizona morning Sun and fresh smelling.Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
