Posted: Postmarked Seattle, Washington, May 26, 1954. Sent to Mr. Paul Wiseman, 115 East 18th, Olympia, Washington. The sender (signing as "Dixter" or similar) writes that John will pick Paul up somewhere around 8 o'clock Saturday morning in Olympia, instructs him to bring skis, crampons, ice axe, rope, and his own lunches, and promises to worry about breakfasts and dinners, adding they will sleep in "our new red tents."
