Pair Antique Syria Shriners Pittsburgh PA 1910 Enameled Glass New Orleans Croc For Sale

Wonderful matched pair of antique Shriners souvenir glass compotes commemorating the Syria Temple trip to New Orleans in April 1910. These feature beautifully detailed enamel decoration including crossed scimitars, crowned figure, star emblem, and raised reptile/alligator-style handles wrapping the bowls.

The bowls are marked:

* “PITTSBURGH, PA”

* “NEW ORLEANS APRIL 1910”

Likely produced as commemorative fraternal souvenir pieces for Shriners attending the New Orleans gathering in 1910. The combination of molded clear glass with cold-painted enamel decoration gives them excellent display appeal.

Condition is good antique condition overall with expected age-related wear to the enamel and gilt decoration. One piece has a small applied decoration loss/chip to one reptile foot as pictured. No major cracks noted.
