Pair Antique 1900s C & NW Ry Locomotive #204 Philip, Haaken Cty SD Depot Photos For Sale

Up for sale is a pair of antique 1900s photos the images measuring approximately 8 1/2” x 6 5/8” and including the cardboard backing measures about 12” x 10”. Chicago & Northwestern Railway steam locomotive #204 and cars at the depot at Philip, Haaken County, South Dakota. There is a very difficult to read banner on one passenger car that might read ‘Dairy & Alfalfa’ but I can’t be certain. The event appears to have brought quite a crowd and there are even a few cows. Images are quite clear and in overall good condition. There is some smudging and a couple of small spots. A couple of corners have ruffled edges. See photos for condition. Whether you’re a C & NW Ry collector, a general railroad buff, or maybe a Philip South Dakota historian - these two photos might be for you. The photographer appears to be The High Studios at Philip, SD but I was not able to find any other information on this photographer.
