Offered is an original vintage 1935 Alberto Vargas print titled “Summertime,” an early example of the glamorous illustration work that would make Vargas one of the most celebrated pin-up artists of the 20th century.

This beautiful image features an elegantly dressed young woman seated outdoors in a flowing white gown, holding a colorful bouquet beside an oversized summer hat. The soft pastel coloring, brilliant blue background and romantic styling make this a particularly attractive early Vargas image.

This is the larger 12 x 16-inch version and is in excellent vintage condition.
