Original 1960 Kodachrome color slide showing the exterior of the historic Polo Grounds in New York City, then home of the New York Giants football team. Large “N.Y. Giants” lettering is visible on the stadium facade, along with one of the towering light standards.

The photograph was taken from the Harlem River and includes vintage automobiles, stadium signage and the rocky shoreline in the foreground. A scarce original view of the Polo Grounds shortly before the stadium closed and was demolished.

This is a one-of-a-kind original slide—not a duplicate—taken by an amateur photographer.
