Up for sale is a beautiful, old-stock Arizona Gem Silica (Silicated Chrysocolla) rough specimen weighing approximately 1 lb 12 oz. This piece was sourced from the historic copper mining districts of Arizona and features a thick, robust vein of vibrant turquoise-blue material.

Key Features for Cutters & Collectors: High Hardness

The thick blue vein is heavily silicated and acts just like glass/quartz. It features a hard, solid structure that will hold a great polish and will not crumble or undercut during the cabbing process.

Translucency: Under a bright light, the glassy blue vein shows an exquisite, gemmy translucent glow along its edges (as pictured!).
