Miniature Handmade Shipibo Ceramic Pottery Statue Spirit of Apacharama For Sale

Wonderful miniature Shipibo ceramic pottery sculpture of the Spirit of Apacharama (the wood ash blended with clay to make a good clay body for pottery), handmade in Ucayali, Peru by Lily Sandoval. I think the world could use a little bit of the charm this spirit brings to your table. Have fun!

Lily is part of a family of celebrated traditional Shipibo artists in Peru. Please find a video about her aunt Celia and her process on my YouTube channel. Their process is entirely traditional: clay dug from the earth, cleaned by hand, blended with apacharana, mineral colors derived entirely from ground rocks, fire outdoors in the open and glaze from tree resin.

Please note this listing is for the pottery sculpture only. Other items in the photos may be available in my other listings, by request, or on the website.

See my other listings for more miniature items. Also please see big river miniatures dot com for the highest quality miniature items from the Amazon Basin, and the Insta account for more information about the project.
