Mating Pair Turtles Gold Tone Lapel Pin Funny Novelty Tie Tack Vintage Pinback For Sale

Unusual small gold-tone pinback featuring two turtles in a mating pose. Cast in solid metal with a textured antique brass finish and fine detail across both shells and limbs. Standard tack pin post on the back with butterfly clutch. Measures approximately 3/4 of an inch long. The design is unmarked and likely produced as a novelty piece or gag gift. No maker identified and no production date visible. Based on the clasp and finish, this was likely made in the late 20th century.

These vintage brooches came from the home of an otherwise very conservative estate. I didn’t realize what the turtles were doing until I started the listing. But let us not judge romancing reptiles; love is love.
