Face Front, True Believers! Here\'s the rare, OOP Volume 14 of the Captain America Marvel Masterworks series of hardcovers! This volume features the acclaimed run of CAPTAIN AMERICA by Roger Stern and John Byrne. During their time on the book, they had Cap face off against such villains as Dragon Man, Mister Hyde, Batroc the Leaper, and Baron Blood and meet fellow heroes such as Union Jack. Also, they celebrated the Star-Spangled Avenger\'s 40th anniversary and contemplate a run for the Presidency in issue # 250. After they left the title, several fill-in issues were published including an adventure drawn by Gene Colan and another tale in which Cap meets the Hulk. Then, Mike Zeck joins the book on art, and his earliest issues are also included here. This edition reprints CAPTAIN AMERICA # 247-260 and features an introduction by Roger Stern. This beautiful hardcover has been read once from my personal collection in a non-smoking home.
