Lot of 4 Antique Outside Calipers | L.S. Starrett 14" | 1907 | Machinist Tools For Sale

This item is a lot of four antique outside calipers in graduated sizes, approximately 14, 9½, 8 and 4½ inches. The largest is stamped "L.S. Starrett Co., Athol Mass. U.S.A." and has a hex pivot nut. It is hand-scratched with a previous owner's initials and the date "10-13 1907." The other three calipers have round pivot joints, and I couldn't find a maker's mark on any of them. They have not been tested for accuracy.

• Approx. 14 in. L.S. Starrett: clear maker's stamp and hex pivot nut. Hand-scratched owner's initials and the date 10-13 1907.
• Approx. 9½ in., unmarked: round pivot.
• Approx. 8 in., unmarked: round pivot, stamped with the owner's initials "J C S."
• Approx. 4½ in., unmarked: round pivot.
• All four show patina, light rust spotting and scratches from use and age.
