Lot Of Vintage Razors Blades Gillette Stick Schick Bakelite Colgate Gem Nelson For Sale

Lot of vintage and antique shaving items, including 8 razors (3 in their original boxes), a Colgate shaving stick, 5 brands of razor blade packages, and five blade dispensers including two injectors.

1. "Stick Schick" injector razor designed to look like a manual gear shift, introduced around 1970.

2. Eversharp Schick Injector Razor with a gold-toned metal head and an amber-colored Bakelite handle, dating from approximately the 1930s to the 1950s.

3. Same razor as #2, but it has a butterscotch- colored Bakelite handle AND the original box.

4, 5, and 6. Three Gem Micromatic Open Comb Single Edge Safety Razor with a "twist-to-open" mechanism operated by the ring at the end of the handle. Uses single-edged blades, distinct from double-edge safety razors. These were produced between 1930-1941.

7. Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip safety razor, likely manufactured between 1954 and the late 1960s, in the original plastic container with a blade dispenser (see #11 below). The razor features a twist-to-open (TTO) mechanism for easy double-edge blade replacement.

8. The "NELSON" safety razor with the original box from J.A. Nelson & Co. in Round Rock, Texas. The razor says, “Pat’d Aug 31, 1909.” Many similar razors were manufactured around the 1900s-1910s and often used as advertising premiums.

9. Colgate & Co. Shaving Stick tin container, likely dating from the early 20th century. It is a cylindrical container with embossed lettering, used to hold solid shaving soap, made by Colgate & Company, New York. The metal tube has a few dents.

Note: None of these have been cleaned or refurbished, and some razors may have used blades still in them. I did clean the plastic case holding the Gillette Super Speed razor.
