Lot of 16 Vintage Railroad / Train 35mm Color Slides – Conrail – Original Photography

Offered here is a lot of 16 original 35mm color railroad slides from the personal collection of a longtime railroad enthusiast and photographer.

The slides feature a variety of locomotives, trains, rail yards and railroad scenes, with a strong emphasis on Conrail equipment.

Several different locomotives, locations and operating scenes are represented.

These slides belonged to my friend Ian, who passed away, and I am gradually finding new homes for items from his collection. Ian was an avid collector, and these are the actual vintage slides from his collection — not reproductions or newly made copies. The slides have his handwritten on them with identifying information on many of the mounts, which may include locomotive numbers, locations, dates and/or other railroad information. Please examine the photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show exactly what is included.

You will receive all 16 slides shown.

Condition will vary somewhat due to age and previous storage. I have not professionally cleaned or restored the slides. They are being sold as vintage photographic collectibles in their current condition.

A nice group for a railroadiana collector, Conrail enthusiast, railroad historian, slide collector, or anyone interested in preserving vintage railroad photography.

These will be package carefully and shipped in a bubble mailer using USPS Ground Advantage with tracking.
