Created from one solid piece of Oak Wood in my Wood Studio. For your consideration is a highly detailed oak Wood Sculpture/Carving of an Octopus. The level of detail of this piece and the difficulty of making it is extraordinary. I take half a fully dried log, draw out all of the details and cut out all of the opening and then start the detailed carving process with power tools, hammer and chisel and hand knives.

Dimensions of this highly detailed hand carved wood sculpture is 31”tall x 12” wide x 5” deep
