This sale is for three (3) Vintage Wanted Posters that were issued by the FBI (Federal Bureau Of Investigation) in 2000 and 2004. The first one (1) is for Juan Manuel Garza-Rendon AKA La Brocha (The Brush) a Mexican drug lord and high ranking member of the Gulf Cartel that was based out of Tamaulipas, Mexico. He first served time in the United States on drug charges in 1979 before returning to Mexico and joined the Federal Judicial Police (dissolved in 2002 due to corruption and criminal activities) in 1985 but left in 1989. He then joined the Gulf Cartel and would eventually become a bodyguard for the kingpin Osiel Cardenas Guillen and worked closely with Gulf Cartel enforcer, Gilberto Garcia Mena. In November of 2009, Garza-Rendon, with others, threatened two (2) U.S. agents in Mexico which began indictments for marijuana smuggling, illegal possession of firearms, attempted murder, drug charges and many more. A two million dollar ($2,000,000) reward would be offered for information leading to his arrest and Garza-Rendon would turn himself in on December 6th of 2001 in Texas. Juan Manuel Garza-Rendon would make a deal with authorities that would lead to the arrest of Guillen in 2007 and Garza-Rendon being released in 2009 and deported to Mexico. Upon returning, he was arrested by Mexican authorities to face charges there and is currently incarcerated at Reclusorio Norte in Mexico City. There is one (1) for Lorenzo Castro Moreno, a Mexican day laborer, wanted for attempted murder, cruelty to a child, assault with a deadly weapon and other charges after violating a restraining order on July 17th of 2001 taken out by his former girlfriend in San Diego, California. Moreno went to her apartment in an attempt to get her to rescind the order and take him back but she refused. He would get a knife from the kitchen and stab her multiple times in front of her young children. As he was fleeing, Moreno threw the knife at the victim's son but missed, fortunately. Lorenzo Castro Moreno is still at large and believed to have fled to Mexico. There is one (1) for Steven Nacim AKA Fouad, a Moroccan, who was charged with wire and bank fraud totaling nearly three million dollars ($3,000,000). Nacim and his associates (including Mohamed Elcohen) would purchase computers for their "company", Computer 3000 that was based out of Rutherford, New Jersey and Casablanca, Morocco and would then ship the computers to Morocco for profit. Unfortunately, the checks used to pay for the computers were based on insufficient funds and wire transfers were bounced around between the conspirators before the crime was realized. All of the conspirators fled to Morocco after being charged on July 31, 2002. Nacim would be arrested in Casablanca in 2018 and extradited back to the United States where he stood trial and is incarcerated.
