Extremely Rare 1946 Oak Ridge TN High School Yearbook WW2 History Of The Atomic:
$1000.00

This yearbook is an extremely rare and historical look at the town that developed the Atomic Bomb to end WW2. The Manhattan Project was the top secret development of the atomic bomb led by Doctor Oppenheimer. The town and high school was built by the us army to house the workers. This was the first yearbook of the 3 year old high school. The prophetic artwork and class statement reveals the hopeful but worrisome new world these students are entering into. This book would be and awesome addition to any museum or collection of American and world history. The book is in good shape with some wear on the top of spline. This is were it all started and what went on behind the fenced and guarded town led to the end of WW2. The parents of these students were only aware of what they were working on after the bombs were dropped on Japan. This was so top secret that the truth never leaked.
