Department 56 The Original Snow Village “Village Station” hand-painted ceramic lighted building, item #5438-0.

This classic Snow Village train station features a detailed red brick exterior, clock tower, snow-covered roof, chimney, holiday wreaths, station signage and colorful architectural details. A wonderful piece for a Department 56 Christmas village, train display or vintage holiday collection.

The underside is marked “The Original Snow Village,” “Village Station,” Department 56 and 1992. The original box identifies the piece as item #5438-0 and handpainted ceramic.

Includes the original Department 56 box and original hang tag.

PLEASE NOTE: Light cord is NOT included, box is not in good shape however Styrofoam is fine. The building looks good other than loss of paint on the corner. Refer to third photo.

Condition is very good overall for its age. There is a small area of paint/color loss or surface wear along the base edge as pictured. No break is noted in this area. The original box has considerable age and storage wear, including discoloration, staining, creasing and edge/corner wear.
