Beautiful Antique Wooden Carved Snuff Box Early 19th:
$1437.70

A rare and beautiful carved wooden snuffbox depicting a figure (likely male, as he is wearing trousers) dressed in period attire and holding a cat.
Both the figure and the cat have glass eyes.
The back panel—which would have served as a lid—is missing; it originally operated via an ingenious push-release mechanism, triggered from the front of the figure where a small rectangular opening is located.
A skilled restorer could reconstruct this mechanism.A rare, high-quality piece.Height: 11.4 cm
