BARITE & CALCITE on SPECULAR HEMATITE - Frizington, Cumberland, England:
$72.00

A wonderful combination of thin white Barite blades, gemmy golden-black Calcites, bladed Specular Hematite, and even some “Kidney-Ore” style botryoidal Hematite on the back! This specimen hails from the classic Hilton Mine in Cumberland, England. Comes with a nice old Lesnicks label, which also indicated that it was purchased from London’s oldest mineral shop, Gregory, Bottley, and Lloyd, when it was still only Gregory and Bottley, circa 1970. A great piece of history here! 9.4 x 3 x 4.2 cm.
