Antique Victorian Gilt Metal Hanging Portrait Photograph Frame Velvet Back c1895 For Sale

The reverse is covered in deep burgundy/plum velvet.

The oval frame measures approximately 6 cm x 5 cm, with an overall length of approximately 7.5 cm including the decorative surmount. Weight approximately 26.9 grams.

Good antique condition with age-related wear, marks, tarnishing and surface wear consistent with its age. There are visible scratches/marks over the photographic area and wear to the velvet backing. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.

The metal has not been tested and is therefore described conservatively as gilt metal.
