Antique Mexican or Guatemalan devotional Santo figure crown, 1.5”H x 1.25” widest Diameter, dating to approximately 1780-1830. Crafted of embossed brass with decorative repousse ornament and a trefoil cross finial. Good antique condition with aged related wear and patina. One of the six raised decorative ribs has separated at its upper solder joint. In addition, one section of the lower decorative band has separated (see photos). These would be repairable by someone experienced in solder work. The crown has its original pin (to insert into a Santo head). It retains a pleasing aged patina.
