Antique Japanese Cloisonne Lidded Jar Floral Butterfly Black Ground Meiji Era 5" For Sale

Thanks for stopping in to see this lovely lidded jar for ginger or tea from the late 1890s to 1910s era Japan. Its copper based with a brass rim with a scalloped floral border of the era. There are tiny pinholes in the enamel showing age and time passing. the inside is a dark turquoise and the knob on tim has openwork details. There is some oxidation and some pitting and a little wear to it so I really tried to get all sorts of photos so you know just the exact age, use, size, look and feel from every angle. Please let me know of any questions at all!
