Antique Hand-Carved Chinese Smoking Dragon Cigarette Holder 19th/Early 20th Cent For Sale

Antique Hand-Carved Chinese Dragon Cigarette Holder 19th/Early 20th CenturyThis is an elaborately hand-carved antique cigarette holder featuring a dragon head and scales along the shaft measuring approximately 7 inches long and about 1/3" wide. The cigarette fits right into the open mouth of the dragon. Believed to be made of bone or antler (we don't think it's ivory since it no obvious "engine-turned" pattern is easily visible, but it could be...you'd need to have an expert look at it). Based on all the research I can find, it dates back to the late 19th or early 20th century.Perfect for collectors of Asian antiques, decorative art enthusiasts, or as a unique historical display item.#Tobacciana #Smoking #Antique #Vintage #Culture #Style #Dragon #Asian #Art #Collectible
