Antique (2) Decks Of Congress 606 Playing Cards Brisge Size "Dorf" 52+J++ 1920 For Sale

This is a listing for two Congress 606 Playing Card decks with their original boxes. The decks are Bridge size, manufactured by the United States Playing Card Company in the 1920's.

The deck in the black box is from Congress's linen backs with anagrams and gold borders. Box is in good condition but shows damage on its face and corners of outer box. Cards show soiling on edges but overall are in great condition.  It includes all 52 cards plus joker and one extra joker.

The deck in red box is from Congress's art deco illustration designs on backs of their bridge decks of cards also in the 1920's. This deck, named "Dorf",  is highly sought after, and not very common as a single deck, most often it is found as a part of a double deck set.  The box is in very good condition with fraying on the edge of outer box in more then one if the corners. The cards in the deck are in excellent condition. Deck has 52 cards, plus joker, an extra joker and an advertising card. The edges still retain their original gelding.
